Frank Majors is the Co-CEO and President of Nephila Holdings, a leading investment manager specializing in reinsurance risk, and Co-Founder and Director of Nephila Capital, one of the world’s largest and longest-standing insurance-linked securities (ILS) managers. Mr. Majors was previously a Director of Velocity Risk Underwriters LLC and Velocity HoldCo LLC. Prior to founding Nephila, Mr. Majors was the Managing Director at Willis Corroon Capital Management. In 2014, he and Nephila Capital Co-Founder Greg Hagood, along with long-time colleague Barney Schauble, were named the Aon Benfield Outstanding Contributors of the Year at the Trading Risk Awards in London.

Community Service

Mr. Majors is President of the Devine-Majors Foundation, a private philanthropic foundation that he leads with his wife, Maxine. The Foundation supports such causes as education, health, and human services in Tennessee. It established a named endowment fund at Harpeth Hall School called the Devine-Majors Scholarship Fund, which supports the school’s mission through financial aid. Mr. Majors previously served as Secretary of the Board of Trustees at Harpeth Hall School. He also served as a trustee of his alma mater, the Webb School of Knoxville. Additionally, Mr. Majors established the Reinvest for Success Fund at the AVÌìÌÃÍø, a fund that provides a signing bonus to undergraduate students who have completed a verified internship.

Education

Mr. Majors earned his B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University and his MBA in Finance from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management. He is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
