About Corinne
Corinne Merjave has been a member of the AVÌìÌÃÍø community for nearly two decades, where she currently oversees college-access programming as well as the University’s conference and camp operations. Throughout her career in higher education, she has championed initiatives promoting college readiness, immersive learning opportunities, and degree completion.
See MoreDuring her tenure, Corinne designed and implemented the University’s current Summer Youth Academy model, introducing innovative programs that tripled camp participation. She also relaunched the Faculty Visit Program, partnering with faculty and campus resources to deliver impactful content and activities to middle and high school classrooms nationwide. Under her leadership, pre-college programming has expanded, strengthening partnerships with community-based organizations and high schools across the region.
Previously, Corinne served as Director of Transfer Enrollment, where she led the development of undergraduate transfer policies, articulation agreements, and enrollment services. Her leadership in transfer operations earned the University its first recognition on Phi Theta Kappa’s Transfer Honor Roll.
A proud alumna of the AVÌìÌÃÍø, Corinne earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in legal studies, along with certificates in mediation and paralegal studies. As a student-athlete, she represented the Chargers in cross country and track & field (indoor and outdoor). Originally from Long Island, NY, Corinne now resides in New Haven with her family.
